Soft Opening for Hagrid's Motorbike?

We will be at Universal about 7-10 days before the official opening...any idea of whether or not they would be doing any kind of soft opening?

There's always a good chance they'll do some soft openings at one point or another, but it's impossible to predict when.

7-10 days prior to official opening could be a stretch but you never know. They're doing heavy testing right now so it's always possible that they might do some softs earlier than expected.

We'll be there the week of the opening but not planning on going on the 13th. Wondering if the park would be less crowded on the 10th-12th with people waiting to go on the 13th?

I can see it happening 7-10 prior to opening, however, then it's the question on when the soft openings will occur and how long the ride will stay open.

Soft openings are unpredictable. Even if it's during that period, when they decide to have the ride open is unpredictable, you never know if it will be open in the morning, noon, or in the evening. When it is opened then it could temporarily be shut down due to technical difficulties. They may not open it the whole day. They do not disclose any information to the guests, just that it might open, and people stand to wait to see if it will.

The question is are you willing to wait all day for something that may, or may not open at all and even if it does, will it stay open long enough for you to ride it?
