So frustrated by bus situation

I mean, some people can do that - there are ambulatory wheelchair users, and I am often among them, but there's definitely an assumption at Disney that anyone with a mobility aid "doesn't really need it" for every-day use, only for long walks.

That sentiment doesn’t exist just at Disney. I’ve been approached by people when I get out of my Fold and Go to help my mom load it into our SUV and calling me any variation of a “Faker”.

The issues we had with the bus were the main reason we booked Swan Reserve for our last WDW trip.

We stayed at Swan Reserve so that we could just simply walk/scoot down to Epcot versus relying on the buses.
