we have the Mississippi going right through the city!

Me too Diane. Half our metro area is in Illinois and is adjacent to the east side of the Mississippi, and the other half is in Iowa and is adjacent to the west side of the Mississippi. I'm on the west side.

Technically though, the Mississippi runs east-west through our area, and I'm on the north side.

Well when you put in provisions which bank do you tie up at?

Oh and I am West of the river in Houston Texas but used to live in Minneapolis, Mississippi and Illinois so have seen the river from both sides
