Showing up at midnight the day of check-in

man, try checking in and if it doesn't work I would go over to BR and sack out by the fire place in those large leather recliners. HA HA just kidding they might already be in use.

I will have a flight landing at 9 pm or midnight (didnt book yet) and I have booked the full day of my arrival. For instance, if I land at 11:45 pm on January 4, I have my SSR ressie booked to arrive on January 4. It will be just my mom and my dd almost 25 and I still wouldnt just show up. I want a room that time of night and not chancing it.

Can you just book CCR for your arrival day. Seems like the easiest plan.

Good luck!

Repack?! When we travel like this, I guard the suitcases like a ninja. Anyone even think of taking anything out more than a toothbrush and they’re tasting the cold steel of my blade.

“Get back, People! Vacation had not officially started! You don’t need to change out of your airplane clothes. Here’s your toothbrush.”

But yeah, I think the “layover” option is your best bet at this point. Just channel your inner ninja, drop off your bags at 7am, and go rope drop FoP.

OMG you make me laugh so hard. We are going over Thanksgiving week but the difference in the cost of flights between 6am Tuesday (arr 9am) or 8-11pm Monday night... even with the cost of a room at the Hyatt MCO, we are saving hundreds of $. And hopefully the next day will feel like a real vacation day rather than "wake up at 4:30 to run to the airport".

Our kids will be wearing the shoes and clothes that they most likely will wear to the parks the next day. And probably that they could sleep in, too. And since we are staying only 1 night at the airport hotel, I don't care if they get their airplane germs all over the sheets!

Amen to that. Spray 'em with Fabreeze and send 'em to bed.

We do the cheap hotel the night before our disney trip often because we live in NC and drive. We like to drive in the night before so we dont waste any precious Disney time. I always pack a small suitcase with the essentials for that night and the next morning and it drives me insane if my husband or 2 sons touch it! It's nice to know im not the only one!

I just booked my flight today and it gets into MCO at 11:45 pm on a Friday. I booked my Friday stay at my resort so I can come in and have the rest of the week withiut having to get up and move. Ill get an early instacart delivery and have a relaxing day that Saturday and start the parks on Sunday.
