So your 150 points at Poly got taken? I'm sorry to hear that! It looks like it's still pending on page 1, so you might want to have that updated if you haven't already.

Do I see correctly that you already had one taken at 125/pp? That's tough - I hope this one comes through for you! This contract was actually a little larger than we were looking for, but I thought it was a fair price (compared to recent resales at the Poly), and it will give us a lot of flexibility. But if we don't get it, we'll just keep shopping!

Right on. We were looking to do one bigger studio trip (7+ days in spring/summer) every other year with a smaller trip (4-5 days in winter) on the off years, so 140-160 looked like our sweet spot. I've had Spring Break 2019 circled on my calendar for months as our school district's Spring Break is before Disney's Spring Break period thanks to Easter being so late. A contract with some bankable 2017 points held serious appeal for that very reason, just like it did for you.

Thanks! I was sad that it was taken, but we ended up doing a small CCV add on (which we're super excited about since we love WL!), so we feel like we can wait til the perfect contract comes up in our UY since we have some MK-area points. But I keep getting tempted by Dec UY contracts since there's so many more of them!

Considering our frame of reference for the last few years is the week leading up to and including Christmas, the first half of June isn't bad at all, crowd-wise. But the first half of that Christmas week isn't either - it only gets crazy around Christmas Eve. Yes, June is hot, but not as hot as August-September, and we also generally avoid parks in the middle of the day - we do RD through lunch, then take a break, then figure out what to do in the evening.

I'll add that we're from Texas, so we're no strangers to summer heat - June is as hot here as it is at WDW. We generally stay inside when it's hot at home, but we don't find it a great shock to the system, and we're fine if we stay hydrated. And we've also become pretty good at working the FP+ system via the app, so we're pretty efficient when it comes to rides. The teenage kids were a big help with that this past Christmas - at MK on Christmas Eve, I think we used 8 FP's! So we don't worry too much about crowds/wait times - we're pretty confident we can work around them.
