We are thinking about booking a trip to TDR for mid 2023. We have been there the week right after Golden Week back in 2015, when every ride was virtually a walk on, as well as in late February of 2018 during what appearead to be a school holiday (The parks were Super crowded, and full of mostly high school and jr high kids). In a perfect world , we would love to visit during cherry blossom season. However, we are under the impression that CB season might happen around the same time as when kids are not in school , or people are on vacation?

Is there such thing as Spring Break in Japan? Besides Golden Week in May that is. What are crowds (throughout the county and at the parks) like In Mid April? What’s the weather like too?

Side note: we’d like to take a side trip to Singapore and do Universal there. So same questions would apply, Thanks for all the help

Here's a website on Japanese school calendar

It looks like they do have Spring Break from the 3rd week of March to the 2nd week of April. Cherry Blossom season is hard to predict but as we get closer to March, more information will come. It's not an exact science but most of the time it coincides with the Spring Break. in 2022, Tokyo's Cherry Blossom was the last week of March. Naturally, Disney will be crowded during school holidays but by mid April, the crowd should be lower

Singapore has a term break between 11 March 2023 to 19 March 2023 and no break in April so you're good. Keep in mind that Universal Singapore doesn't open everyday during low season so check the calendar on the official website before you go.
