Recs for beach time in Cozumel?

We're going on a cruise to Cozumel in late October and didn't want to book any specific excursions (the last time we were there, we did the Amazing Race (which I highly recommend)). We'd like to take a taxi to a beach club/resort beach and spend the day there. It seems there are many options based on my looking online, and all have similar reviews. I was hoping anyone with experience could provide a recommendation. We are a group of 3 adults. TIA!

Recently friends have tried Cabana Beach and said they really enjoyed it - https://thecabanabeach.com/

This is pre-Covid so the prices might have gone up.

Cozumel:
Nachi Cocum ( my favorite) Very quiet and relaxed. Nice beach and pool with plenty of loungers and shade, food and all drinks (alcohol too) included. Okay off-beach snorkeling (fee if you do not have your own). No water park. About $60 per person, kids are less http://www.cozumelnachicocom.com/

Mr. Sanchos (my second favorite) Fun and active. Nice beach and pool area, not as shady near the beach as Nachi Cocum. Food and all drinks included. Ocean floating park for an additional $12 per person. Add-ons like jet skis, parasailing and horseback riding are available. Okay off-beach snorkeling (fee if you do not have your own) About $55 per person, kids are less.http://www.mrsanchos.com/

Playa Mia (excellent reviews from friends) Fun and active, not as shady near beach as Nachi Cocum. Food and all drinks included. Pools, fresh-water water park and slides and an ocean floating park included. Also, non-motorized boats like kayaks and water bikes. Add-ons like jet skis and parasailing. Okay off-beach snorkeling (fee if you do not have your own) About $60 person, including all the kids. https://www.playamia.com/

We went to Paradise Beach. It was perfect for us. Took a taxi and it was all inclusive (food and drinks). They had a heated pool, beautiful beach, clean restrooms, and delicious food.

Thank you both so much for the recs. Any issues or extra precautions you took eating the food/drinks? I know the only thing we ate the last time was coconut-encrusted shrimp which were fantastic, would love to branch out but also fear Montezuma's Revenge!

No concerns at a beach club. They rely on tourist traffic and good reviews. If people were regularly falling ill after a visit, the word would get out.

Can anyone recommend any taco stands in Cozumel near the port? Would love to drop by somewhere before/after excursions, happy for a hole in the wall type place just want some Birria or Carnitas and a mexican coke.

Is this new? We haven't been since 2019 and it was not all inclusive up til then. There was a minimal charge (I forget how much) for entrance and a chair, but they expected you to spend at least $10.00/person on food and drink, which we always easily did with a couple cocktails, and nachos and soda for the kids.

The only one we’ve tried in Cozumel is Nachi Cocum 2022. No complaints at all. We had a great time!

What drew us here was reports of limited tickets so the place always stays mellow and not crowded. As an all adult party we liked the idea other places seemed better suited for families with kids.

The food was very good. Drinks cold and generous. Beach lovely. Had our pick of beachside chairs with umbrella. We opted for beach side massages - awesome. I‘m pretty sure you can book horses here too, which we planned to do until a member of our party broke their foot on the cruise ship 😬 (drink package, yikes). Very serene resort.

I believe they still have this option if they are not sold out of prebooked all inclusive. That was how I read it last October. We had 4-5 ships in port our day so we prebooked it.

I’m not sure as this was the first time we have gone there. I think we paid around $64 for each adult. We had a great time.
