Dudley is on a diet because he got too wide for his school clothes, and they don't make them in his size. Unfortunately, everyone else in the household has to follow his diet thanks to Petunia... But Harry sent some mail to his friends pleading for food, and they sent it to him. Isn't he lucky? Cakes, tarts, candy, even Hagrid's famous rock cakes. Harry's saving them as a last resort...

Harry gets a letter from the Weasleys through the Muggle post. It made Vernon angry because it was covered with stamps except for a small patch where the address is written. It was seeing if Harry could go to the Quidditch World Cup. After a brief conversation, Harry's allowed to go. The Weasleys pick him up by floo powder, but the Dursleys don't have a chimney which complicates things. After a pretty big explosion, they pick up Harry and leave. Fred & George "accidently" give Dudley a piece of Ton Tongue Taffy and his tongue enlarges until it's huge. This angers the Dursleys and they have to leave in a hurry with Vernon chucking ornaments at Arthur.
