I am yet to own a pair of Dis green crocs! Will wear them to The World! How did this "croc" conersation start on a Pictures of food thread? :rotfl:

Because in one of the pics the girl was wearing them and I asked what they were and if they were comfortable or something like that.

WOW!!! Just looked thru MOST of these pages. The food looks so yummy! I was there last May and we enjoyed all of our meals except for one....CS in Mexico at Epcot. I thought it was gross! But everything else was great. Can't wait to go back in Sept. and eat some more! :rotfl:

It is gross! It was the worst meal--the only bad meal--we had the whole time!

:thumbsup2 I'm a smart one.. I have a quick "snack" question, not enough for a whole thread, so I'm posting it here..

I don't like vanilla yogurt, I love pineapple, and I hate icecream. Would I like a Dole Whip? :confused3 Tia.

:smokin:

i usually will eat anything that is posted on this thread. but i will take a pass on the crocs...... :teeth:

There is nothing ice creamy about the Dole Whip IMO, so you should like it.

Believe it or not, this is the size of a pretzel, something I consider to be just a snack...but this could pass for a meal! We got this at a cart outside of the Imagination Pavillion...and may I recommend nacho cheese to dip your pretzel in? It tastes soooo good!

We got these a few years ago at AK thinking we were getting a snack. They ended up being our 'lunch'. By the time we got the pretzels, cheese and drinks it was around $40. DH still talks about the most expensive pretzel he ever ate! ;)

They were good! But next time, we know to get one to share.

As long as you dont mind the consistency of a soft frozen yogurt, then you'd like this...very pineapple-y, and very good!

Ok! Thanks too all who answered my question! I will take a picture of mine next time..December..lol before I eat it! :thumbsup2

Oh WOW! This thread is crazy! :cheer2:

I want everything that's on this thread. Including the croc shoes!

I'm from Australia, and coming to Disney in September. We're spending 6 weeks travelling around the US (San Fran, LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, Disney, Savannah, Washington, New York), and now I wonder... is the food everywhere going to be like this Disney food!?

Because if so, I'm going to come home to Australia double my size!!

I have a question about the school bread from the Norway Bakery. What exactly is it, a roll or like a donut?

Looks good, but wanted more info before I buy one :wave2:

My Hubby and his family took a vacation to Australia back in 2000/2001 (back before we were married).

One of the things that he noticed most about the food (besides for your afflication of putting a fried egg on a prefectly good hamburger) was the portion sizes. He has said that portion sizes in Australia are much smaller than the portion sizes in US.

And Disney portion sizes are even larger than the normal American portion size!! If I were you, I would plan on bringing pants with an elastic waist!! :p

But now that we are almost throughly :offtopic: let's stop the talking and get back to the food porn!

Mmmmm food pictures!! :thumbsup2

Thanks to all you wonderful DISers and your pictures and reviews, I was able to try 5 new restaurants this trip: Alfredo's, Sci-Fi, Brown Derby, Chef Mickey's, and California Grill, plus a few extra CS/to go places. So I'm happy to return the favor and help y'all with planning. While my pictures from Sci-Fi didn't turn out (too dark), here's the major food highlights of my trip:

What: Caprese sandwich (Mozzarella, tomatoes, EVOO)
Where: Earl of Sandwich, Downtown Disney: Marketplace (taken at the tables outside; I actually held a small flashlight over it and the smoothie below, but it's still kind of dark, LOL)

Happy drooling and/or planning, folks! :wizard:

How was the Caprese?

I'm not the person who posted the pic, but I really liked the Caprese I had last summer. It was light and tasted excellent on the fresh bread.
