Post all SW questions concerns, etc. here...

When is the next drop of dates? I looked back a few pages and tried to find it southwest's site and can't seem to find it.
We are currently accepting air reservations through October 2, 2024.
On February 8, 2024 we will open our schedule for sale through November 2, 2024.
This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

If you click on a departure/return date drop down when booking it shows you that info.

will Airpods and Google Pixel Buds work using Bluetooth with the entertainment system or do we need wired headphones?
Thanks

The code should carry over. I've rebooked flights before that had a code, and it always gave me a message at the top "your code is still being applied" or something like that (assuming my new flights were still within the parameters of the code).

You should be able to call and book that all as one reservation. I think the website just limits how many legs you can book.
Awesome!!! That makes me happy! Flights to Hawaii are not cheap for us so this promo code is not something I want to waste!

I’ll call and see if they can do it all by phone from MEM. We can fly from Nashville, but it’s 4 hours away from home. We can book it round trip if we end up having to do that. It’s just a lot of extra travel on an already long travel days.

Not sure if this is too off-topic and apologies if already posted :-) . Several Chase cards have 10% cash back for credit statements for Southwest flights booked through 2/29 if you claim the offer in your account.

What time can we expect these fares to open up? Should I be online at midnight, or sometime later in the day. On a related note, are the fares generally cheaper when they open the schedule, or should I just wait? Thanks in advance for your advice.

This is very helpful.
I was planning on setting my alarm for midnight - now I can rest easy for a few more hours.
Much obliged for the info.

Well they're open and my set dates of 10/24 - 10/28 the prices are absolutely insane.

PVD-MCO
depart - $324 (24,711 pts)
return - $254 (19,111 pts)

I booked with points. I will of course be checking constantly, but we went this same weekend last year and our flights never went down.

Same here. I knew they would be expensive but yikes. They really increased them. I too will keep an eye out but doubt they go down.

Did Okay from BDL; $154 Nonstop to MCO on 10/23. $119 Nonstop return home to BDL on 10/31.

Yeah, rates have gone up from BDL this year, I lucked out for my April trip, managed to find RT for less than $200, but then rates jumped way up, and haven't come back down since.

I have two Chase cards and, unfortunately, this offer is not available for either of them. I was all set to book, just to get 10% cash back, and then cancel the flights and keep the credit until I need it.

FYI I was booking by 7:40 and it took me a bit because of sticker shock. I got my receipt at 7:43 although it really doesn’t matter.
