I didn’t mean having different shows in different theaters. I meant rotating through the shows.Keeping it separate would create division amongst guests, imo and could create issues.
Prior to Jackson and Lincoln, neither the Democratic or Republican parties existed.I’d keep the Hall of Presidents, but I would add more variation to it. Maybe have three different versions, each of which emphasize different Presidents. Try to balance the show between Republicans and Democrats. Maybe Lincoln would speak in all of them, but different speeches in each. I’d introduce the Presidents earlier, and then a handful would make short remarks about events while they were President. The current President’s role would be shortened.
That’s true. Doesn’t change my idea.Prior to Jackson and Lincoln, neither the Democratic or Republican parties existed.

If they did replace said it would definitely be African-American.
It’s fine the way it is you may not like who’s on stage but that’s history.
Agreed. For goodness sake, President Nixon is there! You can't (and probably shouldn't) erase history.
BTW, I haven't been since 2010, and I really enjoyed HOP then. Great history lesson for my older child, and great place for my then very little toddler to nap!
I'm sure that each of us have presidents that we would all like to see moved to the back row...in the corner...behind the drapes...no matter what our political views are or aren't.
Changing a theme park attraction isn't erasing history.
I think the point was that HOP included Nixon even though he was impeached. Changing HOP to eliminate Trump would be erasing history even though it is something that half this country seems to want done. This is why I voted for Muppets. I'd rather change it completely than have it politicized.

I enjoy HOP but with how divided this country is I would prefer it being changed to Muppets and our history. This would allow Disney to focus on our history in a way that would not be perceived as partisan or divisive. It's sad that we've come to this as a country but I don't want to see the poison of politics marring MK.
Other than having the Muppets involved isn't that already covered by the American Adventure in EPCOT?
I don't mind HoP in general or having something that covers some history in a Theme Park - but also feel we have another park that covers "the real world" more specifically so would also be ok with focusing more on fantasy and "not real world" stuff at Magic Kingdom
There was no Epcot when HoP was first installed
I just saw a post on a theme park blog that advocated for closing the Hall of Presidents attraction in WDW. I'm genuinely not here to stir the political pot, but I haven't been to the Hall of Presidents show since I was a kid, and I must admit wouldn't miss it. The audio animatronics are not as revolutionary as they were when I was little, and the American Adventure show at Epcot covers much of the same territory. Even for napping in the air conditioning/nursing my baby, I prefer Carousel of Progress. The blog pointed out that attendance for the show has been incredibly low for the past decade or so, and made a few suggestions, like replacing HoP with a shorter version of Hamilton or the Muppets Great Moments in History. I would love to see the space retain its educational aspect while bringing in a new production that would engage younger audiences.
Please, if we could keep this thread OT, I would really like to hear ideas for what you would do with HoP. Replace it? Keep it as is? Or Keep it and change it?
