Park ticket clarification

It says that the tickets you buy is good for 13 days after 1st use. If our first days is Sunday dec 21, 2014 is the 13 day on jan 2, 2015 or on jan 3, 2015? Thanks

January 3rd will be the last day you can use the ticket.

This is what I thought. Just wanted to make sure plus I emailed Disney and I just don't trust what they have to say. I had a post earlier and I think we are going to split our days up. I always like to end our trip with a Disney day.
