Park re-entry and crowds

Hi everyone!
We will be arriving on Thursday this week and won't be getting to the parks until about 1-2 pm. Has anyone had any issues with the crowds being so big that they couldn't even enter the parks? (Filled to capacity??).
Just want to make sure we know what to expect for the first day we arrive.

Can it happen? Sure
Will it happen third week of December? I wouldn't worry about it at all. Maybe if you were going on Christmas Eve or Day and definitely NYE, but I would not worry about it this Thursday.
