Paris Disney Dreams Come True! *COMPLETED 10/29*

Disneyland Paris! How wonderful! Love your writing style - so much enthusiasm - and photos! Perfect! :goodvibes

I've enjoyed your other TRs with your son and family, but have to say I love that you were able to have some time with just your mom. Memories I'm sure you both will cherish forever! :earsgirl: ::MinnieMo

I'm attempting to catch up a bit on the DIS Boards tonight. Holiday preparations are in full swing and it is taking up most of my free time. I haven't had much time here the last month or so. I miss it. I'll pick up where I left off.

We made our way through the castle and out into Fantasyland. Mom stopped to admire a very pretty flower bed....
ry%3D480

An impressive beanstalk vine!
ry%3D480

Our first glimpse of the teacups...
ry%3D480

It's a lovely rendition of this ride!
ry%3D480

We were on our way to the much anticipated Curious Labyrinth...
ry%3D480

But we HAD to make a pit stop for a very important duo!
ry%3D480

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum were greeting! Such a treat!
ry%3D480

Love it!
ry%3D480

Following this important date we continued on to the Curious Labyrinth...
ry%3D480

The welcoming committee...
ry%3D480

We made our way through the labyrinth and took it all in...

ry%3D480

I loved that there was a bit more to the Alice in Wonderland themed area in this park!

More from Fantasyland coming up!

This attraction takes me right back to my childhood maybe more than any other. I grew up in Southern California and Disneyland there is where my childhood Disney Park memories are linked to. They have a rendition of this ride there. I adore it.

ry%3D480

My mom was admiring the trees in the queue here...
ry%3D480

The storybook boats are precious!
ry%3D480

It was very amusing how both the Disneyland Railroad and Casey Junior's Circus Train kept passing by...
ry%3D480

I took a selfie of Mom and I as we boarded into our boat...
ry%3D480

Another glimpse of Casey....
ry%3D480

Approaching the cottage from Snow White....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Hansel and Gretel....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The Little Mermaid...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

A tunnel during the Storybook Cruise...
ry%3D480

This next scene has a very Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph and Santa Claus is coming to Town feel to it but I don't think it's related??
ry%3D480

Entering the Aladdin tunnel....
ry%3D480

Abu...
ry%3D480

Genie's Lamp...
ry%3D480

The Sword and the Stone...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

This was the best surprise! The Emerald City!
ry%3D480

Adorable!
ry%3D480

By this point in the trip the US girl in me had caught on that Sortie meant Exit...
ry%3D480

I stopped to get a picture of the Casey sign to go along with my train pictures in the scrapbook....
ry%3D480

And then Mom and I were off to our next destination! Any guesses where we headed next?

Those photos are amazing - I've never seen so much detail on the storybook ride. Thanks again :goodvibes

Great pictures! So many Alice in Wonderland details, very cute. The Storybook Cruise looks so adorable as well!

I love the storybook cruise too - known in our house as the Storyboats :)

Thank you for sharing your pictures and stories. I'm planning to go in May and am looking forward to it! Also visiting London, Paris and Brugges, so looking forward to these stories, too.

Just in case you are interested, the winter setting that you thought looked like a Rudolph and Santa story, was actually Peter and the Wolf, according to the sign next to it. :)

Thank you for sharing your trip and pictures! I have been to Paris a couple times and lived in France for a semester in college but never got to Disneyland Paris and would LOVE to someday. :)

I can't believe how time can slip away between trip report updates. We're planning our next trip to Disney World so when I've found time to spend online related to Disney I've been booking flights and various other reservations. I'm excited about this next trip though. IF I can keep it a secret it is going to be a complete surprise for Reagan. I'm going to sweep him off to the airport and then Florida for his 8th birthday where, in addition to the 4 Disney parks, we will also go to Lego Land and Universal for the Harry Potter attractions. I'm crazy excited about it all. We have been reading and then watching the Harry Potter books for awhile now we are about half way through book 5 so we still have 2 1/2 books and 4 movies to get through before June. Enough about all of that though... back to the lovely Disneyland Paris and time with mom.

In the distance I spotted this and that is where we were headed...
ry%3D480

I thought this stroller parking sign was too cute!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

We were almost there when I noticed a greet that I couldn't pass up. Any guesses who it might be?

The queue for the meet was along side this adorable ice cream parlour...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Just a moment IASW... We'll be there soon...
ry%3D480

The very special meet was with Gepetto and Pinocchio...
ry%3D480

I met Gepetto a few months earlier in EPCOT but can't remember ever having the pleasure of meeting Pinocchio.
ry%3D480

The It's a Small World clock was stricking as we approached the ride which is always magical to catch.
ry%3D480

Pretty flowers along the way...
ry%3D480

Paris has a really special rendition of this ride. I love it's facade. If I remember correctly Hong Kong's is similar...
ry%3D480

Since we had just been in London the day before this section stood out to me.
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

An adorable Slinky Dog...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Australia...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The Canada section was fun...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

And the US...
ry%3D480

I always love this ride!

I promise to be back much sooner than last time!

Sounds like a great birthday trip for Reagan!!

What an awesome meet, the backdrop for the photos is really pretty.

IASW looks so cute, so different from the DisneyWorld version.

When we finished with It's a Small World we continued to make our way through Fantasyland. The flowers were so pretty you'd think it was spring and not the tail end of September....
ry%3D480

We decided more time with Pinocchio and Geppetto was in order...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

In usual Disney style, the queue was very cute...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

.... so were the cars for the ride...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

After taking in all the queue details it was time to board the ride!
ry%3D480

Geppetto!
ry%3D480

LOVE Figaro's little bed down in the corner!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The shop continued to be just as cute!
ry%3D480

The Pinocchio outfit for Duffy is one that I'd like to buy at some point...
ry%3D480

This French Chef outfit was special for Paris...
ry%3D480

Another Duffy Paris outfit...
ry%3D480

Thank you for taking the time to share your trip with us!!

We're going in May and this is just helping to build my excitement :-)

We took in a few sights after the Pinocchio ride as we made our way to the next destination.

I loved how this little tree had citrus on it. Only in Disney!
ry%3D480

Lovely views of Dumbo!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Next on the adventure list was the Snow White ride..... Blanche Neige & Sept Nains
ry%3D480

I was really excited for this one!
ry%3D480

Adorable details in the queue...
ry%3D480

The carts were named after the Dwarfs....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Our turn!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

So many sweet scenes along the way...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Sweet Dopey...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

It isn't the new Mine Train but it is a very sweet rendition all the same!

Your photos are fabulous! What type of camera do you have? You could go to DLP so many times and still not see all the little details hidden around the place.
Looks like you were really lucky with the weather. Looking forward to more.
