Paris Day Trips

Hi,

We are looking to do a trip to Paris one day to see Eiffel tower. I know Disney do trips to Paris but do you know of any other sites that offer trips once you get to Paris or would come to Disney to pick you up.

Alternatively how much is the train into Paris?

Thanks

Ross

I don't remember how much it cost but last time we were there we took the RER to Paris (you have to switch lines once). We also reserved our Eiffel Tower tickets online (http://www.eiffel-tower.com/) which was the cheapest and that way we didn't have to stand in line for very long. Do make sure you're there at least 15 minutes before your designated time because people of that time slot do start to queue up before their time slot.
I hope this helps.

we did evening trip to Paris. The bus stopped at Eiffel tower for about 30mins. The bus picks you up at HNY and drops off at your hotel after.

You can buy an unlimited one day travel Mobilis pass zones 1-5 for 15,20€.

This will get you from DLP to Paris and back plus all the travelling you want to do on RER/Metro and buses.

As Aurynn says you can prebook your ET slot which could be useful depending on when you are going as some times are more peak tourist wise than others.

To get a good view of the city and landmarks you could also do a Foxity tour

http://www.foxity.com/en

and if the weathers good there are the Bateaux Mouches that do a good Seine cruise for 11,50€ adult rate

When are you thinking of going ? :)

Hi, We plan to go end of July just after the children break up from school. We used to go to Disney all the time for about 3 years and after finding Disney World too expensive thought we would go back to Paris but try Parc Asterix and experience Paris. We don't plan to go back again as saving hard for Disney World 2014 so want to have a good experience of Paris without spending too much money.

Thanks

Right well I'd be booking my ET tickets as soon as you can - the times open a couple of months in advance.

With a bit of planning you will be able to see a lot in a day even in the peak season :)
