Second time posting...I realized I posted this in the wrong forum the first time lol. I have an iPhone 7 and I’m considering a point and shoot camera for our next trip. I know nothing about cameras and it needs to be simple stupid lol. I want something compact, but that takes great pictures in auto mode, good in low light, and can zoom in more than my iPhone. I wasn’t looking to spend over $250, but if there’s a huge difference in quality I may consider. From what I’ve read the Sony RX100 seems to be what everyone recommends, but I honestly didn’t want to spend that much. I would consider the original RX100 for $450 IF a novice like myself can really take amazing pictures without using manual settings. My husband has the camera in the link below. I'm also wondering if a viewfinder is really needed because of the bright conditions here in the south. I live in Georgia so I will have that issue at more than just Disney. I also really think I would like the 180 degree flip up screen in the Sony RX100 iii. Ugh. Any cheaper comparable to the RX100 iii?
