OT: San Diego?

Hi, I'm asking for advice from any Californians out there (or those who visited often) in the San Diego area. We (me, DH, DD 9 and DD6) are visiting in August, and thinking of adding one of the special tours to our visit to Wild Animal Park or the Zoo. Does anyone have experience with the Photo Safari, the Beasty Bedtime sleepover or the VIP tour that you could share with me? many thanks in advance!
