Is there really a $1700 difference between the 3/2 and 3/9 cruise for 2A2K in a 4B? Why such a big difference with just one week between them?

We are in Texas and in the past two years our spring break has been the first week in March, which has saved us a significant amount. However, in 2019 our spring break will be the second week and apparently a lot of other schools have spring break at that time, as well. This has been the case even for cruises with the same itinerary, although I get that the Eastern may be more expensive than the Western Caribbean. We have also sailed a few times in April and usually you can find one or two weeks that are significantly cheaper, my guess for the same reason (school being out).

Are Panama Canal cruises usually this expensive? I'm having a bit of sticker shock.

Our last one was not this high, but that was 10 years ago. However, $3,000/pp is too much for us for those ports. There are cheaper ones on other lines I'm looking into.

Does that really say 1 adult for 2/16! Yikes! We may officially be priced out of Disney!

I priced Carnival and NCL last night. Carnival was about $1000 less and NCL was $500 less. But the rooms are tiny. For me the savings are not worth it. This was for an inside stateroom versus inside stateroom 14 nights.
