Just wanted folks to know that you can have someone else call in for you (at least with Costco). I have an OBB I wanted to use, but am on an RCI cruise in Japan right now. I called before I left and they wrote a note on my reservation giving my mom full access to make changes to it. I didn't use it (blacked out), but they let her book for me.

I booked online at 7:11AM Eastern time even though the Disney website yesterday said that booking was available at 9:00AM. Like many, we were shocked at the prices, so we decided to downgrade to a 7A category (secret verandah was still available!) instead of a 5B category.

That's actually reasonable. The problem with the EC one is that it isn't the itinerary that I wanted. However, I will take it back WRT the expense factor. Something changed, though, because based on the quotes folks were getting yesterday it was waaaay more than what we were currently paying for this year's August cruise. Maybe they figured something out overnight.
