Omg I'm pregnant how to tell hubby in wdw! Update

Congratulations! No great ideas about how to break the news, but you might want to sneak some saltine crackers and sour candy in your luggage (like Jolly Ranchers) in case you start to get a little queasy while you're there. :)

I'd make a sign that says "we're pregnant!" folded in half. Have the first photo pass photographer in the park take a picture of you and your husband with your camera phone. Hold up the sign at the last minute. After the picture is taken, hide the sign, show your husband the photo and ask him what he thinks of it. ;)

Congratulations!
I love this idea ^^^^

Congratulations! Right as you enter the Magic Kingdom, when you walk through the tunnels, there is a saying, "where dreams come true." Might be a good spot!

I like this one as well ^^^ you could always photo bomb him doing this also ;) You could also call ahead to your resort and tell them you just found out you're pregnant and you're heading down right now. That your husband doesn't know and ask that the receptionist just say congratulation. He'll have no idea what the heck they're talking about...lmao!!! Maybe they'll do something special for you as well ;)

Here I made this if you want to use it:

Not to be a spoil sport, but I would tell him in private. I'm sure this will be great news to him, but he might be embarassed by his own reaction if he cries or something. How sweet and intimate it would be to have a cake delivered to your room or to hand him a pair of baby ears in your room once you get there. In private, both of your reactions can be honest and open without worry of being embarassed.

Just my opinion. Congratulations to you both!!

I could agree with this one as well, if you don't know what kind of reaction you're going to get or if you know he will be very emotional.

Congrats! Just wanted to pop in to say that my last two trips to WDW have been while pregnant and you won't miss the thrill rides at all since there is so much to do!

What if you found a quiet place by the castle and told him you had a gift for him and gave him a box with a pair of blue and a pair of pink ears and when he opened it say which one do you think it will be daddy? Anyway you do it will be super magical! And I would also have a photo pass person take a picture of the two of you in front of the castle holding a sign or the baby ears to save for later when you are ready to announce to friends and family. Congrats again!
I like the picture idea -- something to show the little one someday, and say "Here's right after Dad found out! Look how happy you made us!"

Personally I think you should tell him immediately. It sounds like there was a lot involved to become pregnant and no way would I hold such great news back from my DH once I saw him in person.

Congrats and have a great trip!

I agree! I would NOT have been able to keep the secret from DH until you got to Disney especially since it sounds like it was not an easy road. Please tell him asap, he needs to know! Add me to the camp that feels it should be private, then once he knows you can do the cute photos with you two holding baby clothes or the two of you with mickey ears on holding a third pair of mickey ears or something to put on Facebook. Let us know how it went! Good Luck!!!

:jumping1:omg I can't believe it my dr just called and told me I'm pregnant and we are leaving in a few hours!!!! Any fun ideas on how to tell my hubby while we are there! I'm so excited we have been seeing a fertility specialist for over a year now I can't believe it. I know it's too soon to be excited but what a perfect place to tell him it's crazy!!!
There are lots of cute ideas on this thread. I just want to say congratulations and the best of luck to all of you!! How sweet that you'll tell him at Disneyworld! :)

Add me to agreeing with these posters.

I was in your shoes, with trying to get pregnant for many years for the first time. IMHO, this should be a private message between the 2 of you ASAP.
He might not want to find this news out in a public way.

When we were in treatment for infertility, my husband knew when to expect the verdict every month. I say let him know now and stage some cute photos to share the news with family when you're ready.

Congratulations. Our first miracle is 22 now, but I still love hearing when others beat the odds.

Love the photopass photographer one! You could pass a quick handwritten note to the photographer, and just tell him you are surprising your DH & to please capture it! They would capture the whole surprise on camera!

Ear hat for him that says Daddy or baby ear hat that has baby your last name on it. It's just classic. I went to WDW during my first trimester with #1 and rode everything except Space Mountain and couldn't get enough Mickey bars.

If you have time call and discuss rides with your doctor. Some are marked as not safe for pregnant women and there isn't really that much of a reason. Pirates is one of them. Discuss it wil your doctor and see what they say based on your history and how far along you are.

I discovered I was pregnant a few days before our first trip to WDW. I was so bummed about rides. But, I was able to ride almost everything.

I agree with telling him privately but somewhere in the park. How cool would it be if he always remembered he was walking down Mainstreet or riding on Peter Pan when he found out he was going to be a Dad :)

As much as my husband supports the whole message board thing, I cannot even tell you how upset, saddened, and even devastated he would be to know that the entire world of strangers on the Dis found out before HE did.

He would feel the same about me keeping the news from him for even an hour after I found out.

Of course, that would be impossible since he knew, I mean KNEW, very very very shortly after conception. Apparently my entire BEING changed, head to toe, and he was actually the one that bought me the stick to pee on, just so I would stop dithering and wondering. Even as newlyweds he knew me, my personality, and my body so well that he absolutely knew. So a surprise like this would be impossible.

I'd pull back on this one, tell him NOW, and stop it with the surprise. And maybe you'll find out he knew already.

Only you know your husband. If you tell him at WDW (l think the baby ears hat idea would be lovely) he will be so happy, but do you think he would have preferred you to have told him as soon as you knew? Either way we he is going to be ecstatic. Congratulations to you both.
