Any other tentative people for October? I just booked our flights. The two husband/dad's on the trip are going only because us, the wives, are making them. We were able to book them in first class so they are much happier now. Fingers crossed we all get our trips!

I've even been scouring old posts about food. Hopefully they have some of my favorites this year if it opens. I love the cheddar lager soup so much from DCA and the churro sundae from Golden Horseshoe. If I can have DLR open and those two things to eat I'll be a very happy person.

Once you have dates post them and I'll get you added to the list!

Here are three of the reasons I hope DL is open for Halloween!

I've had the weekend of Oct 14-16 at the VGC sitting in my DVC account for awhile, but we're going for Labor Day and a few days at the beginning of Thanksgiving, so didn't think I'd keep the reservation since going that often is a lot for us, and we could save the points for 2022 ....

DS was looking over my shoulder last night and said "We're going for Spooky Month?" and I said maybe not and he said "We have to go for Spooky Month." So we'll be there celebrating with y'all since Labor Day isn't spooky enough.

We have officially booked for Oct. 9 - 16. We will be celebrating our 7 wedding anniversary and our sons B-Day while we are there. They both happen to be on the same day. He'll be turning three at the end of the trip so what should we expect / do.

I've got everyone added at this point.

Coachbev, I personally recommend a Halloween party if they are happening. I haven't been to the party since it moved to DCA but loved it when they were at DL. For the anniversary/birthday celebration we've always done character meals for our big things. If those come back that would be fun I'm sure for your son.

Nope, it is for everyone. I think DVC-ers just tend to plan Disneyland further out than those who don't have to book 8-11 months in advance to get a room, so we show up on the check in threads a little earlier.

I suspect the DLH will open after the Grand Californian and probably Paradise Pier, too, as they had been planning on that when the resorts were going to re open last July, while they gauge demand for the hotels, capacity, etc. It looks like the other hotels aren't taking any reservations at the moment either, for 2021. Guess they're waiting for an opening date.

Fwiw, studios are still available for most days at the VGC in October, so if you can find someone to rent points from its far enough out that its an option to consider.

Anyone feeling the tiniest bit of optimism for our October trips? My friend and I ordered shirts and ears for our girls, and of course us too. Now they just need to stay the same size for 7 months.

How were you able to officially book?

Our October 2020 DLH reservations got cancelled, of course....and I don't see a way to rebook for October 2021??

No option through the website, and no answer when you call DLH.

Help?
