DLR News for my fellow July park goers

Disneyland will increase attendance, drop mask requirements for vaccinated visitors, discontinue physical distancing and continue advance reservations as the state ends most COVID-19 health and safety measures.

We will be there July 5 - 9. Staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center.

July 9 - 12 staying at JW Marriott Anaheim Resort. Fingers crossed for more restaurants open/availability, reduced or no masks, AC settling down/figured out, more ride capacity and low crowds. Ba ha ha ha...

July 1 and 2, just me and my daughter (so no one to slow us down!) Staying at the Fairfield Inn.

Ours is a rescheduled trip also! Covid cancelled our Spring Break '20 trip.

Mine is, uh, sort of a reschedule of my planned (and obviously canceled) April 2020 trip to Tokyo Disney, and then my planned (and canceled) June 2021 trip to WDW. Feel much more comfortable going to CA opposed to FL. I do plan on going to Tokyo as soon as it's safe to do so, but that probably won't be until 2022 at the earliest, and I need my Disney park fix!

Family of 6 going July 18-22! This trip has been cancelled and rescheduled so many times, I can't wait to actually go! My oldest son just graduated, so this is likely our last whole family Disney trip... at least for a long while.

We were originally supposed to get married July 18, 2020 at the Grand, and that was postponed to July 17 of this year due to COVID. However since Disney Fairytale Weddings isn’t hosting weddings until end of October/November this year, we had to postpone again until July 16, 2022. DH and I still got legally married last summer, so this trip is our first anniversary/would be wedding/honeymoon? Lol. We will be in Disneyland and that’s all that matters! We decided to splurge and stay at the Grand for the special occasion.

My office decided to close for the whole week of 4th of July, so I'm visiting while my husband has to work. (He doesn't mind, especially in July heat!) Staying July 7-11 at Paradise Pier.

I made reservations at the Camelot back in February for July....they had a really good deal, and I figured DL would be open by July! It worked out great!! we're taking our 4 grandkids; it's the youngest one's first trip! he's 7. this trip was originally scheduled for Apr 2020, then Feb 2021...
3rd time is the charm!

July 9-12th MikeRx. We made a very discounted reservation at the Fairfield many months ago just like OldPyrate, betting they would be open. We canceled our June 13-16 trip becuse of the fear that despite being fully vaccinated and obligately compliant we would be turned away.
We also have all of our meal reservations. Blue Bayou, Napa Rose, Carthay, Alfresco Tasting Terrace, Cafe Orleans...We can’t wait to be back.
