I did some searching and didn't see a thread listed, so I figured what the heck? I might as well start one. I'll do my best to keep up with updates and post information in this first post. I've never done one of these threads before, so I apologize in advance if I'm not a good thread keeper. I'll post a little about myself and this trip in the second post here. But please, come join us as we look ahead to better times!

IMPORTANT: You can make "park pass reservations" for any trip up through 9/26/21, which affects people in this thread. If you have valid tickets and reservations, you can make these starting on 6/22. Officially pulled the trigger and will be there 4/3-9 @ Beach Club Villas. Felt very real VERY early this morning making those dining reservations. Looking forward to what I suspect is going to be a very busy Easter week.

Just booked April 2-10 at Caribbean Beach. Will be my daughter’s birthday trip for her 7th birthday. So excited! This was my Christmas present from my husband. Park ressies done, now just ADRs on 2/1.

We’ll be there the 4th - 9th

Sadly we cancelled. I can’t see things getting much better and the quarantine requirements won’t work with my job. So we can’t go . Super sad since this was rescheduled from 2020 and was replacing our Disney cruise. The cruise is rescheduled for 2022 but I feel like the future is bleak right now.

We are booked for 4/24-5/1 at AKL. I‘ve cancelled this trip twice (last spring and last November) and I’m really hoping this one happens. Ive gotten both Moderna shots (I’m in healthcare) but I’m still nervous about flying and am waiting to see Florida’s numbers before I decide.

But the truth is I’m not sure we are going to be anywhere near “normal” anytime soon, and I really need the mental health break. So I’m leaning towards going.

I totally understand. I'm sorry you've had multiple cancellations now. I know it seems bad, but things will be normal again and we can all go (again) without worrying about all this stuff.

I just bought some KN95 masks for the flights

I did too! I’m going to wear it in airport on plane and indoor queues, and will wear surgical mask outside!

KStash and zeferjen, I am the same -- feeling like this is as good a time as any to go, and we have KN95s for the plane and anything indoors. We'll be at AKL Kidani 4/11 to 4/17, feeling cautiously optimistic and excited about it all!

Just added a quick 3 night stay April 24-27th for the Flower and Garden Festival! Staying at CCV. Haven't done park reservations yet or thought about dining because we also have a trip coming up in 10 days We rarely miss a festival and this one is our favorite!

I understand as that's what happened to 2 trips last year.
This year is looking better as I will have had both vaccines and a supply of good masks.

Restaurants aren't open or can't get what you prefer?
Just curious as my ADR window opens in about a week.
Looking ahead, many of the restaurants I would like to book are still currently closed.

I am looking at the ones that are open such as Topolina, Beaches and Cream, Be Our guest, and etc. There is very limited reservations and I know that they will open as we get closer and people cancel their dining plans. However it makes me a little anxious that it is going to be packed.
