NYE or Christmas Day on board?

Generally looking for people that are willing to share experiences, I'm thinking about doing a cruise over one of this holidays (or both if I get crazy enough?)

We sailed over NYE in 2022 (into 2023). There was a deck party on NYE that started around 11pm or so. They passed out sparkling wine (and non alcoholic drinks) in souvenir flutes (these were complimentary). Music, dancing and a countdown and fireworks at midnight. It was a really fun night!
