(Non-WDW) Looking for a map or US or US/Canada

My DS6 has a map of the world in his room, and always likes to see where places are (Grandma's, Cincinnati, WDW). I've been looking without much luck for a map (poster-size or so) of the United States or the United States and Canada where the states/provinces are outlined, but can be colored in once you've visited them, with the larger cities would be nice, but not necessary. Would ideally have the state or province's name printed as well.

Thank you. That looks very nice, but like you said the price is not-so-nice. May go with that though. Didn't even think about the lamination, that might be nice to have and use dry-erase markers.

Have you tried a teacher supply store, Walmart? Our walmart usually has them before school starts (which is a while yet)... Teacher supply store might have them though... I could check ours later this week if you'd like me to.

Thanks, I'll check Wal-Mart sometime this week, as I'm sure I'll have to go there for something. If you are going to a teacher supply store, I'd be interested in what they might have. We don't have any teacher supply stores near here, but that way I might know for the next time we're out shopping in the bigger towns.

This is the teacher supply store by me, it is called Let's Learn. Looks like they have nice and huge blank maps to purchase. The cities aren't labeled, but I think it would be a fun activity to have your son look for the city on a real map, then mark it on this one (Maybe with stickers even of the places... like a little Cinderella's Castle sticker for Disney World... Sears Tower for Chicago...):

Thank you very much all. I'm going to order that map from Let's Learn. And what a great idea on the landmark stickers. Just need to find some of those now. Also need to find little stickers for Major League Baseball teams. That's one of the things we do other than WDW trips, try to visit each MLB park, with seeing the Reds in each National League park. Looking forward to visiting Minnesota for the first time this May.
