We booked our first cruise for 8/8/15. For some reason we thought that we would be ok with the inside state room Cat 11B. I don't know what we were thinking!

Can we upgrade now?

I have upgraded past final payment before - you just have to pay the difference when you do it.

We have been on three Disney cruises, Inside for one, Oceanview for one, and Verandah for one...honestly, any single one of them is perfect...we loved elements of each...I would save the money and put it towards excursions You could also ask at port for availability of upgrades...have never been on a ship yet that did not have them, many schools start back the first week of August here in the South..so likely you could upgrade at port for less
