Need help w/ Biergarten ADR time

We have a reservation for Biergarten at 5:30 in June. I just found out the show time is at 5:55. I'm worried that the show we'll start just around the time we're seated or just when we're trying to get our food. I thought backing the time up to 5:20 would help. I would like to be seated, have time to get our food, and then let our kids be able to see the show. The computer will only give me quarter minute interval (5:15, 5:30, etc.) options, though. Should I go with the 5:15 time? I don't want to be there too early and feel like we're stretching things w/ our meal in order to stay for the show. (I don't think that will be a problem really, but not sure). We've never eaten here and since we're going in June when it's busy, I'm not certain what time would be the best for the reservation. What do you think?

I had a similar question a week or two ago. Mine was more about picking between two meal/show times. I only had one person answer, so I'm hoping you have more people answer you.

If it's any help, there is 30 minutes between our reservation and the show. I think that will give us time to get our food and be ready to watch the show.

I hope so. If I knew I was truly going to be seated at 5:30, I wouldn't be worried. Since I've never been to Biergarten, I don't know what to expect. For example, we've been to Chef Mickey's before more than once and know to expect about a 15 min. wait past our reservation time. At Akershus we've waited twice now over 30 minutes past our reservation time. We even arrive15 minutes before our reservation time as Disney suggests. I guess since I don't know what to expect, it's June when it's busy, and it's Father's Day on the day we're going, I'm just wondering if I should change the time just by a tad.

I know i asked this same question yesterday. Someone had suggested the 5:25. I had decided on the 5:25 giving us 30 minutes but still Im second guessing my decision. I too dont want to be too early at 5:15. Then again im wondering if we should just chill and have a drink or two if they let us in right away.
