Nassau accessibility

We are taking our third crusie and don't know what fun thing to do while in Nassau. When we were there before nothing was accessible........

Has anything improved?
Any ideas for a power wheelchair user?

We know the ship and castaway are accessible

Take a land taxi van to Atlantis hotel. The aquarium and casino and hotel grounds are accessible for the most part. If you take a guided tour provided by the cruise line, as opposed to by yourself, the guide will be able to open and operate the lifts that they installed to get from one level to another. You can meet with the Shore Excursion desk aboard ship to arrange for an accessible taxi van. THEY ARE AVAILABLE! DCL no longer uses the water taxis because of the huge distance you have to go from the Paradise Island taxi pier and the hotel.
Other than that Nassau is pretty much as inaccessible as always. You didn't state what kind of chair/scooter you are using but the power chairs will have a greater problem finding taxi transport thean scooters.
As for Castaway Cay...I was there last week and there is a huge sand spill just past the Post Office left over from the hurricanes that will bar the access of power equipment. The island was also hit by a storm that closed the beaches and broke the sea barrier. Last week.
