Monorail resorts

We are looking at a short stay at the Poly or Contemporary vs CBR mainly because they are on the monorail line. Is there a preferred line for resort guests to cut the line? Do you feel it is worth the extra money for the benefit of the monorail and proximity it MK?
There are 10 of us 6 adults and 4 kids (7, 3, 2, 6 mos).

There is no preferred line, but we do love the convenience of being at the poly. We especially loved the boat to mk. If you are going to spend a lot of time at mk, it's awesome.

As PP said, no special line for resort guests on the resort monorail line.

You can walk to the MK from the CR....there's a walkway and there's never any lines for that!

A few things here:
The monorail only connects three hotels to the MK, and by a second line to Epcot. You won't be taking the monorail to the Studios or Animal Kingdom.
There is a resort monorail loop that services all three monorail resorts. This is a separate line than the usual express loop that day guests take.

As posted, there is no preferred line for resort guests. But there are two tracks: the outer track runs counter-clockwise and is the express monorail running between TTC & MK. The inner track runs clockwise and stops at all the resorts as well as TTC and MK.

Sometimes, overflow to TTC is diverted to the resort track. :sad1:

Love CR! Easy walk to WDW and first stop on the monorail back. At the end of a long day, it is nice to leave the resort and be in your room in record time.

We also like the easy access to other monorail resorts for different meals and just wondering around.

Good luck with planning!
