Oh, that's good to know. I might not have park hoppers this trip so we may decide to go to a different park that morning...it would be good to be able to get into MK that night before 7 when the crowds rush in!

Another question: How early do the popular dates, especially Halloween itself, sell out? Are there usually some tickets left on the night of the party before it sells out, or is it like, months in advance?

Firstly, nothing sells out till at least the end of August, beginning of Sept; usually Halloween night is the first one, then usually the last couple of parties sell out later on.

Secondly, some of nights that have sold out in the past didn't sell out till the day of the party.

Hi! Just after some advise from those who have been before! I have just noticed that the Mad Tea Party ride is shut in October when we will be visiting . I was hoping to have a picture at MNSSHP with Alice as I will be dressed as her - does she usually appear anywhere else at the party?

You should be able to find her on the Alice trail from Toon Town to Tomorrowland. That is the best candy trail there and many of the Alice characters, including Alice are there.

That was true last year, but the fly in the ointment is that Toon Town is now closed for the Fantasyland expansion. So unfortunately no one can tell where (or if) that trail will be relocated. You'll have to wait for the first reports out of the party this year.

Not true. Toontown is not expected to close until Spring.

My favorite candy line was the one on Toon Town by the train station...the Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts are usually there with Alice! We went through twice last year!

We loved the Mad Hatter...He was hilarious!!

We are so disappointed that the party doesn't happen while we are there. The original dates showed the party happening while we are there then they got changed.

Right. So what is better - AP discount tickets or military discount tickets? WE will pick a date based on what is a better price but I am SO confused! I *think* Ap is $49.95+tax advance purchase but am not sure! I know mil tx for certain dates are 40.23 adult - but thought an AP discount would be better than this? Am I wrong?

They are usually announced late March/early April with tickets going on sale the first of May.

So, I haven't found this anywhere yet so I am coming to the WDW pros...

We are going to be there the week of the first party, on Sept. 14th. Is the first party very crowded? We were trying to figure out if it is going to be nuts that trip!!

Any help would be appreciated.

I already checked, and cannot move this ADR to another day during my trip. I have no plans to purchase a MNSSHP ticket. What will happen when we leave the restaurant? Will we be able to ride any rides? Or will we will forced out of the park? Will shopping even be limited?

You will be escorted out of the park. No you will not be able to ride rides or shop. Yes, you will be forced out of the park. Only those who paid to stay and are wearing the wristbands will be able to do those things.

Do they start the free facepainting at 4 (if you have a wristband) or not until 7 when the party officially starts?

Just got our tickets for October 1st!!! This the the 3rd party for my sister and me. However, the 1st party for the 3 friends we are taking with us.... We cant wait!!!
