~ MNSSHP - So Clueless ~

I am just not getting this for some reason.

We have MNSSHP for the 30th, the day we arrive.

I understand we do not need MK tickets, but we can get into MK with our MNSSHP tickets at 4:00? Correct?

The Park closes to everyone else without a MNSSHP ticket at 7:00?

When does the show start? What IS the show? Can we ride rides and go to attractions from 4:00 on with only MNSSHP tickets?

your correct. You can go in as early as 4:00. At 7:00 the park closes to everyone without MNSSHP tickets.

You can ride any rides that you want, everything in the park is available. There is also trick or treating. You can pick up a times guide that will tell you what time the special halloween parade/shows are.

Hmmm, very interesting then. We planned to do MK two days of our trip but I did not count this night as one of those days. If we can still ride some rides and see some attractions this night, then maybe we don't need 2 full days at MK and we can fit the one park we were leaving out...in. Maybe?

I have been to MNSSHP three times now and you will love it. You can get into the park on just your MNSSHP tickets starting at 4:00pm. you will go to a particular place (which may be at the main gate or in the park) and trade your event ticket for a wrist band. At 7:00 pm anyone without a wrist band is asked to leave.

2 of 3 of my visits there was a half hour time period where everything but main street was off limits as they preped for the party (put up more decorations etc) This may or may not happen and there is no way to know in advance.

Once the party have begun there are several stages with music groups in nearly every land, there is trick or treating all over the park, a parade sprecial for the party as well as fireworks special for the party, and a main stage villans show.

Not every single ride is open that night but all of the popular ones are. To list some I have been on that night: Space Mountain, Slapsh Mountain, Big Tunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Astro Orbiter, TTA, Aladdin, Buzz Lightyear, Stitch's great escape, small world, snow white, and pooh. There are usually more but that's all I can remember right now.

depends on your touring style and how many of the shows you go to at MNSSHP. Two years we were able to ride many rides and only spend about 1.5 days in MK. The third trip we watched most of the shows, parades, etc and only got in about 3 rides before the party was over

There will be CMs all over the parks giving out wristbands to those that have party tickets. After 7pm anyone not wearing a wristband will be escorted out of the park.

The parade will happen twice, you will be able to pick up a schedule and map on the way into the park. You'll want to check for times of the parade, the dance party and the Villain meet and greet and fireworks. The map will show you where the candy lines are.

We went last year and I don't remember any rides not being open. We had a quick dinner at Pinocchio's ( they were serving pizza only) and then we found a spot and waited for the parade.

That's exactly what we do if we're there for a party - it's our second (or sometimes only) MK day!

I think that's right. My recollection is that later in the evening they only had one bay open (the burger one, I think). I don't know when the other bays closed - we were just stopping in for a very late snack.

It's pretty late - the kids were SOOO tired. 1AM? Someone else will know for certain.

It is photos only with the villians after the show. They do not sign autographs.

Does someone post the maps here after the first party? I am waiting till we go to decide based on weather but it would be nice to know what all the events are beforehand.

I think MNSSHP is one of the best deals at WDW!

We've only been to two MNSSHPs and the last one was in 2003, but we're going back on 10/16.

At both the parties we attended, we arrived well before 7pm and many of the regular guests seemed to be leaving well before 7:00! So, wait times were really short. We rode most of the rides in Fantasyland before the party started!

Both parties we've attended have been sold out and we still found that line during the parties were much shorter than during our visit during regular hours later on those trips.

Plus there are many fun extras at MNSSHP that you don't get at a normal MK visit.

Seems like its a pretty good deal since I will only have to by 4 day tix and still have 8 hours in MK on our first day of the trip!

This is our first time going as well. My hubby and I went to the P&P Party in February. It was AWESOME. We had gone to MK one time and the lines were soooo long. When we went to P&P Party it was a breeze. We walked right on the rides. It sounds like MNSSHP is kind of like that. We can't wait. WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!

There are no FP during the party and there will be no times from earlier in the day....We had no problems with lines during the party...In fact, we went on Splash Mountain three times in a row with no wait at all (one time we were the only party in our car).

They do stop serving....I think it was at 7:00...The map will indicate where you can eat during the party...Selections are VERY LIMITED....And we actually like getting eating out of the way before the party begins....We do not like to waste party time eating when we can be hitting the rides and seeing all the party events...We eat around 5:00...The have a snack (or eat our candy in this case) while we are waiting for the parade...It has worked out very well for us to eat before the party begins...

BTW, we have found ride lines are very short between 6:00-7:00...We think it is because people are eating, just arriving to the park for the party, or leaving for the day...Anyway, we have had great luck getting a few rides in during that hour....That is another reason why we like to eat early on the night of the party...

We always arrive at 4:00...Get our wrist bands and maps at the gate...Hit a ride or two...Go to eat...Hit a few more rides before the party begins at 7:00
