Don't be surprised if we see some firework or fast pass announcements sooner rather than later.. one can hope ;]
This would make a lot of people very happy (us included)

Never thought a lanyard for a mask would be standard when going out, but it has been!! It's worked great for us, though. Glad the vaccines are allowing us to move on and get closer to normal again.we saw people wearing it on their elbow...that seems pretty disgusting. It's 95, you're going to be sweating into it all day long. Our kids had lanyards.
My kids are 6 and 8. While they understand that vaccinated people can go without, I choose to wear mine in solidarity until they can be vaccinated as well.I'm thinking the same thing. My little (6yo) is going to be bummed if she still has to wear them when mom and dad don't. We may be wearing them so she doesn't feel left out.
I think you can assume most ppl will not be wearing masks like you have seen.I'm over here just waiting to see how this plays out. In my neck of the woods, the change to this type of policy meant that no one wore masks anymore. Vaccinated, probably not vaccinated (we are only at 40% locally, so...), and kids clearly too young to be vaccinated. I arrive 2 days after this policy change goes into effect. I have 3 kids too young to be vaccinated. I'll be watching for reports on what this really looks like on the ground.
Haven’t they had problems with scheduling these things in the future. If they think it is a good idea, why is it a good idea starting in 4 days but not today. It doesn’t require me to go buy something so I need them to prepare.
As a parent of a child under 12, I am not concerned since the risk is minimal.Yeah. Wonder about kids under 12. Seems kinda ‘yikes’ for families
They aren't vaccinated.I’ll be there 6/19 with two kids under 12 who are not vaccinated. They aren’t required to wear masks are they?
I would be surprised if Disney is policing children who look to be under 12 years old to wear masks, but we will not know that answer until June 15th for sure.I’ll be there 6/19 with two kids under 12 who are not vaccinated. They aren’t required to wear masks are they?

Only if you're "vaccinated"...

Right. First how can you tell if a child is 12 or 11 of maybe even 10. And now there are trials for kids under 12 so those kids could be. The policy means masks are optional. Stop over analyzing ppl.Technically, yes, since the optional part only applies to vaccinated people. However, it doesn't sound like there will be any enforcement.
Hopefully they will revise the policy to say optional for vaccinated guests and guests under the age of 12.
Based on recent reports from the "Here Now & Just Back" thread of coughing kids being everywhere in the parks, I'm not sure I'd want any kiddos I cared about to be maskless around that. It's not exactly cold and flu season, KWIM?
