I’m nervous about making ADRs for my group of 9 people for nov 2019.
We will have 4 adults, one 7 yr old, three 2 yr olds and a 10 mo old baby.

I have some questions and concerns.

If we eat at Biergarten or Teppan Edo, will they seat us at the same table?

Also, will I need to call at 7am est to make ADRs at certain places, like CRT?

Any other info or tips that I should know??
TIA

With a group that large, I would call as early as possible and book the most popular ones first, such as CRT.
You should be able to sit at the same table at Teppan Edo and Biergarten. Others may be put at your table as well.

I just booked for a group of 13 a couple of weeks ago and aside from a couple of ADRs where I had to split us into two smaller groups, I had zero issue getting the restaurants we wanted at good times. I've been told that if you let them know you'd like to be seated together, they'll do what they can. I booked everything online at 6 am, including CRT.

9 can sit together at Teppan Edo. We sat together as 10 before and once as 11 with a baby.

I did ADRs for 9. The only place I had trouble with was garden grill, I’m thinking bc they don’t have tables that big. I bumped it down to 7 and made it for a day my in-laws wouldn’t be with us

There are some places you have to call directly to book a party that size. If you can’t find any availability online, call.

13 people?! HOW did you get CRT for that many people online???

I split it up into two groups. We don't mind sitting at two tables but our reservations are at the same time.
Did you have someone else from your party go online and make a reservation at the same time as you? I’m trying to figure out exactly how I’m gonna do this bc I’ve never made an ADR for CRT!

No, I did it. I booked one party and then the other. I have them connected to my MDE as friends and family.

We just recently booked an entire trip of meals for 9 (and even one day for 11 when a couple others were joining us) with no issues. The only place we had to split up was Garden Grill. I'm not sure they have a table that fits 9, so we split up 3 and 6. I thought we'd have more issues, but not at all. All done online at 6am.

I had to book for 11 for our June trip. Some I was able to do online but the rest through calling. We have two that are split into 2 parties - Garden Grill and Via Napoli.

I do parties of 9 each year. I get on early. Do the harder places first. If I end up having to do 2 tables I then get on the horn and call the restaurant and talk to a cast member to get it combined. Works 99 percent of the time for me. I also have gotten to know some managers over the years so I will email them as a last resort to help out of possible.

Like others said sometimes u have to split up cause they don’t have tables that large or only have maybe 2 larger tables. Beaches and cream u have to split up. Yachtsman only has 2 or 3 larger tables I think. Flying fish is the same. I actually stopped by flying fish in summer cause I had 2 tables for s fall trip. They combined me in person when I stopped in. I wanted to see the new bar ceiling cause I heard is was pretty nice. So killed 2 birds with 1 stone. :)

Ok, I got it now! I’m supposed to get online at 6am and assign the first ADR to another adult in my party then make the next ADR in my name so we can have 2 separate tables at the same restaurant, hopefully at the same time!
