Magic Morning vs Early Entry / EMH

We are staying offsite at a Good Neighbor hotel and have tickets that offer 1 Magic Morning. What is the difference between that and EMH or Early Entry? I’ve seen all referenced here but can’t really tell the difference.

MM allows you to enter Disneyland once during the duration of your ticket one hour early on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It is available with 3, 4, 5 and 10 day tickets. EMH is for onsite hotel guests only and allows one hour early entry to Disneyland the on the same days as MM (tue/thu/sat) and DCA on the other days.
All the best.

So with this is EMH and MM essentially the same thing but labeled differently for onsite or offsite? Or do the EMH have 2 hours before park opening? Trying to plan our days and decide if we would do that on the Saturday of our stay.

EMH and MM are basically the same thing. EMH is for on site guests and can be used repeatedly for the duration of your hotel stay. MM is for all guests with most 3+ day tickets (some exceptions, e.g. military discount tickets) and can only be used once for the duration of your ticket. As stated in the link posted above, EMH and MM are one hour early entry to DL in FL and TL only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Ok, that makes more sense now as on-site guests are not limited to only one day. Thank you!

The other nuance is that EMH (on site guests only) is the only way to gain early admission to DCA (on Sun, Mon, Wed & Fri). So if you’re an on site guest you can get into one of the parks early every morning per that schedule.

Also be aware when making your plans that MM/EMH in DL is only Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. So don’t plan to rush over to POTC, for example, in MM as you won’t be able to get over there.

Quick question - we're staying onsite so get EMH... given MM for DL appears to be the same days/times as EMH, we effectively don't need to use MM because it's acting as the same thing?

Correct, since you'll receive the EMH perk by staying on site, you won't need to use the MM on your tickets for DL.
