In Oct/Nov we spent two weeks in Loop 2000. It was our first time staying in that loop. Our site was closest to the comfort stations behind the bus stop.
For the entire first week we were there, there was no hot water in the ladies room and all of us had to take cold showers. The men's showers were fine, according my husband and son.
Many of us called the front office about it, only to find the same thing again the next day. It was only finally fixed when I asked a cleaning lady about it and she radioed her supervisor on the spot. Thankfully I got hot showers for the second week.
While it was our first time in the loop, I had quite a few other women there tell me that it was often a problem in that comfort station, and many of the women knew to just walk to the other one to shower. One person even told me she was there Halloween 2016 and it was cold for a week then. Clearly the problem has been going on for awhile.
So, my question is, has anyone here experienced this? I want to go back to the Fort, and want to camp in the tent loops, but refuse to spend all that money for another week of cold showers. I always request Loop 1500, but did not get it that time. Maybe I should just pay for an upgraded site?
