Liberty of the Seas...How's the food?

back. we found that we rarely ate in the MDR at all. mostly because we are bored with the menus which have not changed in several years. Sorrento's pizza was actually better than I expected, although barely above CiCi or Little Ceaser in quality. they also served focaccia sandwiches which we thought were excellent. at least one of those was always vegetarian. Promenade offerings were typical light fare. enough tho tide you over in most cases. we did a lot more Buffet for lunch this go round. as for Breakfast: we ate in Chops because we were in a suite. MDR for breakfast and lunch is all open seating although if you want to sit by yourselves you will wait longer. service universally tends to DRAG from lunch and dinner despite them cramming everyone into the big tables. since we ate in Chops I am not sure how their cooked to order egg station is run in the buffet. sometimes its just eggs, or if you can get omelets too. we did specialty dining 3 nights, mainly to use up OBC. both Chops and Portofinos( now gone and rebranded Giovanni's) were very nice.
