Labyrinthitis ???

I have been having ear problems, like the feeling like they won't pop and balancing like problems like a gyroscope unbalancing. I'm not dizzy but I do get head-aches and such.

I have researched Labyrinthitis online and think I have it. I am planning to make a DR's appointment on Monday but I was curious if anyone here has had Labyrinthitis? If so can you post what you felt? It is hard for me to describe my symptoms which is hard at the doctors makes me agitated cause I feel like I'm talking and no one understands me.

There's a weird pressure inside both ears and have distance and space related problems when driving. :( I just am not 100% sure it is Labyrinthitis but at the same time I am pretty sure.

So can anyone help me by describing their symptoms when they had it?

You might get a lot more traffic on the community board for this one.

I had it once. Came after a sinus infection. Mine came with severe bouts of vertigo that took almost 6 weeks to resolve.

Honestly, for the last 5 years, I've had what I think are inner ear issues, balance etc. Distance and space with driving also. I feel like my vestibular system is just weak (really, it always has been).

You should go to an ENT for this.

You should also consider seeing a neurologist, as these issues are sometimes related to the brain's sensory processing of sound rather than only to physical problems with the ears. A neurotologist is a specialist for neurological disorders related to the ear.

Disappointed this isn’t a thread about watching Labyrinth over and over again..

I also recommend an ENT and or neurologist. I had a horrible issue with balance several years ago and finally had success with vestibular rehab. That's basically reprogramming your brain. Good luck. I know how frustrating it can be.

If what you're experiencing is related to seasonal allergies, taking a decongestant daily might help, as even the littlest bit of fluid in your ear channels can cause these feelings. Good luck. I've had this type of thing before on several occasions and it can be unsettling. (Mine was always related to fluid but I even had brain MRIs to rule out worse things.)

I was diagnosed with this but found out years later it was actually a tumor on the acoustic and vestibular nerve. See an ENT as others have said.
