LA / Disneyland Area Hotel Strikes and Picketing - Is it Still Happening?

Wow! I’ve been away from Disboards for a while, but just checked back as we have a short visit in December. We are booked at the Anaheim Marriot, but it sounds like I need a back up plan! We are NOT crossing a picket line.

It doesn’t have anything to do with the Marriott, it’s a Hilton situation. Just unfortunate the Marriott is in the vicinity

Thank you. I looked into it further after I posted and that is the case. Oh well, maybe we’ll just hope for the best.

Having just gotten back from a convention, trust me when I say the protesters were out last Friday/Saturday starting at around FIVE AM and went until 10pm. We were in the Marriott in the Oasis tower and had to move rooms because the noise - horns, an actual drum kit, sirens and megaphones- just echoes in that plaza. They weren't out from Sunday to Thursday although they did walk thru the Hilton Thursday morning.
