I feel like I know the answer to this but I'm double checking with you experts! I want to preface this by saying I am NOT trying to attend the Halloween Party for free, I have party tickets another night. That being said:

I have an ADR for 6:55pm on a MNSSHP day. I do NOT have party tickets. Magic Kingdom hours say 7:00am-6:00pm. Disney's website says the restaurant hours that day are 11:30am-7:00pm.

I made the ADR right on the main restaurant page and not under MNSSHP Dining. It's my understanding that because the restaurant doesn't close till 7:00pm I can go to dinner without having party tickets then be asked to leave directly after, or even escorted out. OR am I totally wrong and I cannot go because it's after official park closing at 6:00pm?

I asked the Disney Moms Panels but haven't gotten a response yet. I'll certainly modify my time to be earlier if I need to. THANK YOU ALL!

A CM told me that I had to have a reservation BEFORE 6pm or I needed a party ticket, so I cancelled. This does go against what a few people on Facebook told me their experience was (they said they were permitted to dine and were escorted out), but I figured better safe than sorry. I'm going to try to get reservations for when I'm at Magic Kingdom on a non-party night.

I know, but none are open in that timeframe for my size group...I can do 4pm or 6:20 or 6:55pm.

Wow, that's not cool then. I was able to make a res at 6:10 PM on a night with MVMCP and there is absolutely (I triple checked) no mention of needing a party ticket. Yet they will threaten to charge you if you don't show up for the reservation?? That can't be right.
