I was touched by the words of both Biden and Megan McCain. When faced with life ending situations it is telling on how unimportant some issues and differences become.

Wow that is really awkward to watch. The girl seems to want to get away after about 10 seconds, Joe keeps nuzzling his face in there with his wife looking very closely in. Yikes!

I agree. They are also two men who have overcome great personal tragedies (McCain's time as a POW and Biden's wife and daughter being killed in a tragic accident) and who then dedicated their lives to serving their fellow Americans and the world.
