What a great president and an even better human. Godspeed.
He wasn't the best president, but he was the best of us.Sounds like it may not be for too long, he is 98. I know he was not a popular president, but he has accomplished a lot since leaving the White House in 1980.

Agreed! He led a great life. What a loss.One of the few presidents I have no hesitation in calling a truly good man. More important, I think, than merely being a good president.
The first President I was aware of as well. A great statesman and a great former President. I hope he is comfortable and surrounded by love and at peace with a life well lived.He's the first president I actually remember from my childhood, and Habitat for Humanity does wonderful work. It will be a sad loss.
