Interactive Workshops - Festival of the Arts - reviews? with older kids?

We are excited about the International Festival of the Arts in 2019 --- but have never been before. We would like to participate in one of the Interactive Workshops (specifically the Ink & Paint Animation). While the cost is certainly reasonable, everyone in my party would like to go (including our 9 year old) so it would be a significant cost. Before I purchase tickets I was wondering if anyone had attended these workshops before ---- thoughts? reviews? good activitiy to do with family of all ages?
