No, you are not being selfish, but trust me, as a mom of 5, NEVER buy your children stuffed animals! Everyone will bring the baby a stuffed animal, and I swear they reproduce like bunnies. ;Truer words were never spoken!

I wouldn't. Nothing to do with the "ditching the husband" part, I just wouldn't want to be walking everywhere in June Florida heat at 7 months pregnant...
I wouldn't go in June, pregnant or not. Too darn hot. I'd play it by ear and see how the pregnancy goes.
I also don't understand what being pregnant has to do with ditching your DH, and if my thn H had been so emotional that seeing toddlers running to a character had made him teary eyed and reaching out to rub my belly, I would have left him in the park.

Agreed

Exactly, last thing you need when pregnant, or any time is a grown man acting like a pregnant hormonal woman.
I appreciate all of the input!
FWIW, I know how hot it is in June. I've gone every summer since I'm two. All I know is, a pool, someone making my bed each day, good food, better desserts, no laundry, no dirty toilets, and relaxation for two weeks in 100 degrees sounds wonderful. Of course, I'm not 7 months and have never been 7 months before, but I will see how I feel when June comes!
Yes, but it feels hotter when you're 7 months pregnant. I went in the end of October when I was 8 months pregnant. It was only in the low to mid 80's but it felt like it was 100.
Golly....I don't know how all the pregnant people in Florida manage. Do they go live somewhere else where it's cool?

There's plenty of ways to stay cool and you certainly don't need to go commando in the parks. Take it slow, stay hydrated and all will be fine and dandy.
