To sum up, we did most of the add ons that WDW offers (slight exaggeration) and I turned 40 at the Magic Kingdom!

Basics: family of five (me, hubs, 10 year old, 8 year old, 4 year old) and we flew to Orlando. We spent a total of nine nights, staying in a total of FOUR different resorts because when we go crazy, we go really wild.

10/2 - Left Houston, flew to Orlando, stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort. Using Disney math magic, we used less miles to fly in a day earlier and it was less expensive for our family (thanks 30% off room discount!) to stay at CBR than to stay at an airport hotel room.

10/3 - Animal Kingdom Park, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani Safari View, 1 bedroom villa

Add-on
  • My oldest and I did the Old Key West Southernmost Point 3K Fun Run

10/4 - Animal Kingdom Park, AKL Kidani

Add-on
  • Festival of the Lion King, Tier 1
10/5 - Magic Kingdom Park, Hollywood Studios, Wilderness Lodge BRV 1 bed villa

Add-on
  • Star Wars dessert party
10/6 - Epcot, WL BRV

Add-ons
  • Parisian Breakfast (Food & Wine Festival)
  • Pixar Play Place

10/7 - Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, WL BRV

10/8 - Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, WL BRV
