I love credit cards so much! v6.0 - 2023 (see first page for add'l details)

For those of you that have purchased a Hilton GC for the Surpass $50 credit, can you please tell me where to find the link? If I remember correctly, someone said they used the DOC link, but I'm not seeing one there, although I'm probably just not looking in the right place. Maybe @afan ? Thank you!

I was looking all over DOC for the link earlier this month and didn't find anything.

Just now went to Hilton.com and used the link at the bottom of the page. The email came from Hilton to confirm the purchase and they charge 1.95 for USPS shipping from a processing company with initials RPG. Not sure if it will credit but can use the gift card in any event, so we will see. I'll post if I get the credit.

Do you know if the purchase has to be made from a web browser or can it be through the Cap One shopping app? Both DH and DD are going to use my support link, but I’m not sure if they have to make a purchase through the website via the Cap One portal, or if they can make the purchase through the Cap One shopping portal.
My DS purchased on his desktop with the browser extension. Hopefully, you were able to get the elevated bonus before they changed it.

There's an elevated offer on the Alaska biz. 75k for $4000 spend. DoC Link

I feel the same way about BoA lol. But I went for it and was approved. I just closed the same card a couple months ago. Was somewhat confident applying since I have an old BoA checking account. Haven't tried for DH since he has no relationship.
Ugh. I just got this card with a 65k offer and higher spend. :(

It was me. I posted about finding a link on DoC, I was thinking it was in the comments but I just went back to find it and I couldn’t find it either so I guess I was mistaken. I did find a screenshot I took though and it was buyhiltongiftcards.com and processed by RPG. Sorry for the confusion on my DoC mention though I’m still not 100% sure that I DIDN’T see it on there because the comments on one of those posts are so voluminous I may have missed it. At any rate, purchasing from that site did work to get the credit for me.

Has anyone with an Amex biz platinum had a cheap Southwest flight credited recently? I made a $59 purchase on December 7 along with a Dell purchase and neither have credited yet. I’m a little worried about the airline credit but how long do Dell credits usually take?

MCO....... what a mess! Came thru on Monday Morning- I cannot believe the crowds! I was with people who had a checked bag (that was 40 minutes line) and security....oh the humanity! Line started next to security entrance then wound all the way down the terminal and back up to the part where yu start winding thru the actual line..... so we got there at 5 am, and JUST caught our plane with 2 minutes to spare at 7:05...... (think Home Alone running) I've never seen it this bad. And I forgot about the local clear option till I got there, wondering if that is a good program? Whats the best way to avoid those lines next time? Does the orlando clear program help at all?

Great! That's the link I found bottom of the page on the Hilton.com site.

Mine from 11/29 posted 12/8
My cell phone charge from 12/5 hasn't posted.

There is one travel planning task that I always find to lift my spirits: rechecking car rental prices and SW fares. It's a win-win every time. Whether the prices go up or down, I can feel good. Either I got it at the lowest price at the start, or I'm capturing a price drop then and there. :thumbsup2

We were also there on Monday, I assume you have Pre-check? The Clear pre-check line was way slower than just regular pre-check line.

Following this. We'll be there in June (God willing)!
Also happy to read any trip reports if anyone has any to link here.
This is how it worked Nov 2022.
We took pictures at home and had them printed at Walgreens, I did 4 pictures and printed on one 4X6 picture (cheaper than passport size pics). It is smaller than a passport photo (color headshot photo 3cm tall x 2.5cm). They have photo booths at the airport, but this was easier.

The weekly pass works Monday 12:01AM to Sunday 11:59PM, that schedule worked out for our schedule. We didn't use it to get to Disneyland since we arrived on Sunday (we just Ubered), but used it to get from Disney to Paris.

We had to buy it from the ticket booth, which didn't open until 7AM (we arrived at 6AM and had to wait 10 minutes), but it was super easy. She took our precut pictures and stuck them to the card (they have adhesive).

The card is 5 Euros + $30 Euros for the pass. It was totally worth it for us because we went to Palace of Versaille and the airport, we also got on the wrong train a few times so it was very useful to have unlimited access.

We still have our cards that we can use when we go back.

I normally don't take early flights from there but the whole early process is awful. Even back in March it was bad.

Really miss being able to check my back at the hotel instead of at the airport.
There's just too many that don't travel enough, too many people and theme park fatigue that causes it to all be bad.

I can't even imagine how bad it would be if it was more automated. I had to check my suitcase in Okinawa to fly to Osaka cause I couldn't fit the glass stuff I bought. I didn't talk to a person. The door opens, you put the suitcase in, scan your pass, it weights it and gives you a tag to put on. Then the door closes and away it goes. Weirdest and most efficient bag check ever. Also there and Narita, since I didn't check a bag going to Oki, no one checked my ticket or ID. You go through a thing and it gives you a receipt you need to keep so I'm guessing it checked against my passport from when I went through customs. So weird though.

Clear has just been absurd recently. I don't know why I still bother using it. For the past 5/5 flights, the regular pre-check line has moved faster than the Clear + Pre line (I always note the person entering the regular Pre line at the same time as me).

This past weekend, the standard security line was faster in both ATL and MCO than Clear + Pre (we had a friend traveling with us who went through standard).

So frustrating. I just wrote in to Clear to complain, but I know it will not do anything.

Definitely not a service I would pay for if it weren't included on my Amex.

For my flights in the last couple months, 3 out of 4 times the standard security line was faster than TSA Pre.

New scanners at some airports have definitely helped the speed of the regular line as you don't have remove anything from your carry-on. It is inconsistent though, as some airports still insist you remove electronics even when they have the new scanners.

It doesn't help that they are making everyone verify their info and take a new pic again. Or the random ID checks, which I thought verifying would help but I still got a random check on Sunday and I'd verified and did a pic when I left Thurs so who knows. Lots of complaints on reddit though.

If my Plat didn't pay I wouldn't have it, though even with verifying Thurs it was still quicker than just using pre check.

Amazon GC update. I realized Mon afternoon when typing the code again that I never peeled the cover off the code so while the package itself looked fine it clearly wasn't.

I chatted again and got passed around until I got to a specialist who ultimately said they'd refund 100 to my gc balance. It never came so I chatted again today, got to a specialist and they put a request in and it's now showing in my gc balance.

They did tell me what account used it, you're welcome babygirl (whoever and wherever they are) to which I said they aren't on my prime and I have no idea who they are. They said I should go to the store and I said why, it's your gc and it's not the stores fault it was used fraudulently. Had they not said they'd refund it Mon I'd have tried the store but as Amazon got the money for the card when I bought it, I don't see it as the stores fault. I realize they are bit though. I'll also look closer at all my gc and not just Dis when I'm buying them.

Thanks for the reminder. With new fares dropping tomorrow I checked my Feb SW flights and one went from 189 to 144, have seen a few rental car drops but still hoping for more.

Couldn't remember if it was possible, but tried to PC my Amex BCP to BCE and was able to do it through chat! Love not having to call.
