@tzolkin welcome!! The CSP is a great card, however a few things-
The CSR (Chase Sapphire Reserve) is the premium version of the CSP.It may be worth considering for a few reasons:
1. You can use points at 1.5x redemption when booking via the Chase portal. (Ie if you book $100 in travel it costs 6,600 UR vs the 1.25x redemption/8,000UR of the CSP)
2. The annual fee is $450 BUT will come with a $300 travel credit. You can use this immediately and then a second time on your card anniversary for $600 in value (without paying a 2nd AF)
The CSR is only $450 for a few more days, and will increase to $550 on Monday. It MAY come with a higher SUB after the increase, but thats pure speculation at this point. Even if you get in on the lower fee, you will get $60 in doordash credits for 2020 and 2021, and 15% off Lyft. You can only get ONE Sapphire bonus every 4 years so its important to weigh both cards. Basically, you can get the $450 AF card and get $720 out of the credits right now, plus the 50k points worth $750 in the UR portal.
UR also transfer to southwest and british airways (and BA can be used to book AA flights).
All of that being said 2 questions
1. By “we” do you mean you and your partner are both on the cards? We generally recommend avoiding that as it adds to your 5/24 count. You are at 2/24 right now and you could EACH get a sapphire and combine your UR as chase allows sharing between households.
2. Are you open to business cards? The CIP is a Chase biz card with a 80k sign up bonus and will NOT add to your 5/24 count.
