How to enter Aulani?

We’ll be at the Marriott, but would like to go to the Aulani gift shop and walk around. Is that allowed? If so, can we enter from the beach side or do we need to go thru the front entrance?

Logistically you can enter from either side and its permitted in "normal" times. The gates from the beach path always seemed to be unlocked, at least during waking hours. Hopefully someone can confirm their current covid procedures - I'm not sure if they're validating guest status at the various entrances somehow. If they're not, you can enter from either side. I believe restaurants are still limited to on-site guests only.

The last time we were there a few months ago, there really wasn't any mechanism by which they were preventing non-hotel-guests from entering the property. You would have been able to just walk in from the beach side (or the front, but the beach side is likely easier for where you are coming from).

In March we just walked from the Marriott along the beach sidewalk and entered into the pool area. We also entered from the main entrance one day after walking the the ABC store down the road.

We were there last week and the gate from the beach was always open during the day. We used it to enter as late as early evening/sunset and did not have to scan our key or show a wristband. anyone can enter through the front as well.
