As you may be aware, a potential labour disruption at Canada Post may delay mail delivery as early as July 2, 2016. This delay could impact the delivery of
Walt Disney Travel Company Guest documents for upcoming arrivals.
Therefore, beginning June 24, 2016,
Walt Disney Travel Company Guest documents scheduled for delivery to a Canadian address will be held for delivery at Resort check-in. This will initially impact Guests arriving through Aug. 2, 2016 (or earlier for reservations booked or modified within 30 days of arrival). Documents will continue to be held for delivery for arrivals within 30-40 days until the disruption has ended. This applies to all
Walt Disney Travel Company packages. This will ensure that Guests traveling to
Walt Disney World Resort will still receive their final documents if there is a strike by Canada Post.
Beginning with documents produced June 24, 2016, both
Disney’s Magical Express Service documents for Guests staying at
Walt Disney World Resort hotels and
Disney Cruise Line Guest Travel Booklets will be delivered via an alternate mailing service.
Normal document delivery will resume once the strike is over or it has been confirmed that the strike will not occur.
