How Many Sports Stadiums Have You Been To?

Let’s see…
Shea Stadium/ Citifield
Yankee Stadium
Fenway Park, Boston
Olympic Stadium, Montreal
Camden Yards, Baltimore
Giants/MetLife stadium, NJ
Rich Stadium, Buffalo, NY (old name)
Arthur Ashe tennis stadium, NYC
Plus 4 or 5 minor league baseball stadiums and 4 or 5 college football stadiums on the east coast.

I don’t think of indoor venues as “stadiums”, but if including those, I’ve been to many NHL games at the Nassau Coliseum, Madison Square Garden, and UBS Arena, plus several college hockey arenas in the northeast.

Camden Yards
Three Rivers (I'm old!!)
Yankee Stadium (Both of them)

oops forgot I saw Billy Joel at whatever the Nationals Stadium is/was called at the time. And I went to the circus at Madison Square Garden over 40 years ago

We live in MD and have been to many games at Oriole Park, Nats Park, and M&T Bank Stadium.

We also have been to MLB games in Atlanta, Toronto, Boston, Philly, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Miami, Houston, Cleveland, Detroit, St. Louis, Seattle, Anaheim, and San Diego.

If college gyms are included, then it starts getting pretty big.

It also said stadiums, but I've seen hockey in LA and Anaheim. Also college basketball in at least a dozen places (some NBA arenas). I've been to some NBA arenas used for other events like high school basketball.

Forgot that I saw an MLB game in Miami once at the (former) Joe Robbie Stadium. I think it was called Dolphins Stadium at the time.

There may be a few others that I can’t recall.

I follow a Facebook page called Stadium-Arena Chasers. There are 124 NHL, NBA, NFL, and MLB teams. Some claim to have visited all 124, others are working toward that goal. I know I’m never going to visit all the NBA and NFL facilities so I’ll stick with hockey and baseball.

The LA Rams and Chargers share a stadium, as do the NY Jets and Giants. You need to see each team in those shared stadiums to reach 124 status.

And I’m glad someone else started this topic. I was going to about defunct stadiums/arenas, but didn’t want to humblebrag.

Football-I’m forbidden from attending any more NFL games. I went to 3, and all 3 teams departed a few years after I visited.
Baltimore Colts-Memorial Stadium, 1982
Houston Oilers-Astrodome, 1993
LA Rams-Anaheim Stadium 1994.

All three cities have since replaced their teams, but I’m not pressing my luck.
