How does Guardians of the Galaxy-M:B! compare to Tower of Terror?

It might depend on the sequence you get (I didn't recognize the song, so I can't say which one I rode), but I found Mission Breakout to be far less intense than ToT. The last time I rode ToT, I nearly got motion sick. Mission Breakout didn't have the same effect; my stomach felt okay after riding it (a little unsettled, but nothing like ToT). I was pleasantly surprised.

My daughter refused point-blank to ride ToT - she had a panic attack in the queue and had to be escorted out through the chicken exit the one time we attempted it (she'd ridden the WDW version and hated it). We had to beg and cajole her to ride GotG - just ONCE, we said, to try it. And, because she'd enjoyed the movies, she did, though with much trepidation. Halfway through that first time, she yelled, "I LOVE THIS!!!" and it's replaced California Screamin' as her favorite ride. I don't normally care for droppy rides, but I do enjoy that one, also.

I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to drops, that feeling in my stomach verges on painful so it took me a couple of rides to get used to ToT and GotG. I learned to LOVE both but I do find I do better when I'm sitting against the wall where the handles are. Also a little liquid courage never hurts. :)

GotG is so much FUN! Thrilling yes but there's no spooky factor at all. In fact, it always makes me smile! It is my favorite ride in DLR. I love drop rides, and what makes GoTG even more special is the music. Just got back from a 3-day trip where I rode it 9 times (thanks MaxPass!) and have now experienced all the songs. There's not a bad one in the bunch, but my absolute favorite to get is "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5. Like others have mentioned, when the car is not being shot up or down - it's bouncing, always moving. The queue really is fun to experience at least once if you like GotG/Marvel (there's even a special guest cameo in the queue video!), and if the wait time isn't too bad. Last piece of advice: when the elevator doors open and you look out onto Disneyland get ready for your ride picture :DHope you have a blast!

It's my favorite ride. I get motion sickness on many rides nowadays, but not on Guardians. It's just straight up and down. I find it to have more drops than TOT, but it is much more fun and exciting. Watch the movies beforehand and sing along with whatever song you get. I'm always signing and dancing in my seat on that ride.

One word about the ride photo - if you're not in the back row, be considerate of the people who are, and don't hold your your hat in your hand with your arm raised, for instance - that's going to block out someone's photo, and it may be the only chance they get to ride it.
